Date of birth: official date of birth 01/01/1963actual date of birth I don't know but my elder sister is born in 1964; my birth certificate was
lost when I was young so an estimation was made for me by looking at me and according to my size I was assessed to be born in 1963. It is very often to find sudanese citizens with date of birth first of January i.e.
estimation date.

Description of the area/place of birth:
A very nice and quite
tow. It is flat, with sandy soil surrounded by a series of mountains from the south and southern east part. It is called El Rahad Abu dakana means the dark Rahad: Rahad means a depression and water reservoir.
Abu Dakna = dark because there was a thick forest of Alacia nilotica tree in the area; this tree in general is dark green with black stem and thick crown so the forest look dark and according the area was
named as dark water depression
The town is small of approximately 400 familiy (average family size in Sudan is 6)
People depend on agriculture and small scale acricultural based industry e.g.
oil industry and soap industry; milk product industry. In addition to trade and employment in private sector and the majority are in the public sector. The area is an improtant trade centre due to its geographical
location and it is the central railway station for western Sudan.
Place of residence: El obeid town
Is also called Aroos El Rimal meaning the bride groom of sand, is also an excellent town. It
is the capital of north Kordofan state. It has the world biggest market for Gum Arabic. It is one of the important historical towns in the country; main occupations are trade and employment public and private. It is one
of the towns where pioneer girl schools were established. El obeid first girl school was established in 1918. There are many Non Government Organizations and international organizations working in the area. The
university of Kordofan which has been started in 1990 is found in El obeid town.
Familiy members I grew up with:
My father who was a driver travelling around in the country. It is believed that
those drivers have contributed a lot to culture transfare in the country because the were the only mean of communication. He is fit now but no longer driving
My mother, her name is Hawaa (Eve); she was an
excellent model of traditional housewife who looks after the children and take the household responsibility during the absence of teh husband due to his regular and continual travel. She died of cancer in 1988. God
bless her.
My elder sister Fathiya; she is an excellent model of modern women in the area. She has started her carreer as a teacher in the intermediate level then promoted in different levels. Now she is a
technical advisor in the Education Office. She is married and is staying in El Rahad.
Alawiya is the next sister; he is elder to me born in 1964; we were friends ??? he through out the time of school. She
is a teacher in primary level, married and has one daughter (Maab) and one son (Osman). She is living in Khartoum, the capital of the country.
Last but not least my only one brother; he is named after my
grandfather: We all like him because he is the only boy. He is younger to me. He is working in the provate sector in the capital Khartoum. He is reciently marry.
I had also in may familiy my grand mother
(mother of my father) called Zeinab. I am named after her; she died in 1988 the same year with my mother.
Current family:
I am suppose to be with a new family that is my husmand's family this
was suppose to be by August 2000 but fortunately or unfortunately I am in ifu during this time so I am in Am Papehof Str. 20, in Hannover. the future family consists of my father in law; my mother in law and two sisters
of my husband.
